Cargo Rack That Mounts On Trailer A-Frame
Question:
I need more clearance between the basket on the stack rack and my trailer in order to make turns. Any reason to not remove the hitch pin, push in the rail of the stack rack and drill a new hole for the pin thereby giving me about an extra 2 inches clearance ? Also can I reverse the baskets, putting the large one on top ?

It is not recommended to drill a new hole into the shank of the Viking Solutions Stack Rack # 310-VSR201. This rack is specifically made to be mounted a certain way and any changes to that could affect the structural integrity and strength of the rack. You could switch the baskets and put the larger one on top, there are pre-drilled holes that allow for repositioning.
In regards to your trailer hitting your rack, I am not sure how you are hauling both at the same time. I am assuming you are using a dual hitch and an extender, which is NOT recommended as this would reduce your towing capacity to almost nothing. Installing the Stromberg Carlson Trailer Tray Cargo Carrier for A-Frame Trailers # CC-255 may be the best option here. This would allow you to carry cargo on your trailer's A-frame, if your trailer would allow for this type of setup.
