Bike Rack And Hitch Combo for 2 Fat Tire Bikes On 2007 Honda Civic Or 2006 Dodge Caravan
Question:
looking for a bike rack that would fit my 2007 honda civic. I have 2 fat tire bikes both weighing app. 44 lbs each. do you have one that would fit my car? Alternatively, I have a 2006 Dodge caravan. Could you recommend one for that if the hondas out.

For your 2007 Honda Civic I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch 1-1/4" Receiver Part # C11391. This is a great class I hitch and will allow up to 200 pounds total for the tongue weight capacity. This weight rating is the amount of weight that will load downward onto the hitch. It is definitely capable of carrying a bike rack with your bikes loaded.
With your 2006 Dodge Caravan Curt Trailer Hitch 2" Receiver Part # 13389 is going to be the best option. It has a tongue weight rating of 350 pounds. This will give you an option if you ever decide to carry heavier bikes such as e-bikes or more than two bikes.
