Trailer Wiring Harness Recommendation for 2019 KIA Sorento
Question:
Im purchasing a hitch. My 2019 Kia sorento has led tail lights. My trailer has incandescents. Do I need the complicated wiring harness with the inverter/balancer? What if i replace the trailer lights with led units? What would I need for that. Thanks

The Draw-Tite Class III hitch you'd looked at would work perfectly for your 2019 KIA Sorento.
For a trailer wiring harness, I'd recommend the # C56332 if your vehicle is equipped with the tow package or # 118583 if it is not. If you do have the tow package, the connections are located under the vehicle on the driver's side just forward of the bumper. If you don't have the tow package, the taillight wiring harness would plug inline between the vehicle's taillight wiring harness and the taillight assemblies as shown in the linked video. The wiring harness will work with the existing taillights on your Sorento and is compatible with incandescent or LED trailer lights, so if you decide to upgrade your existing lamps to LED's in the future, the harness will work just fine.
If you were needing a ball mount, I'd recommend the Curt # D-28 and the # PC3 hitch pin along with # 19260 for a 1-7/8 or # 63845 for a 2 inch trailer ball.
