Roof Rack for 2005 Forest River Rockwood 1940LTD to Carry Bikes

HI, We have a 2005 Rockwood 1940LTD and are trying to figure out a bike rack. We tried and failed with a rack that didn't have enough room between the distance between the ball of the trailer and the start of the camper. Is there a roof rack that will work on this camper that we can use for bikes? Thanks.

We do have an option for you to add a roof rack to your 2005 Forest River Rockwood 1940LTD that will allow you to add bike racks to carry your bikes, and what you can use is the SportRack Pop-Up Camper Roof Rack # SR1020.
This rack is designed to fit pop-up campers that are a maximum of 85-1/2" wide, and will not fit campers that have roofs with rounded or curved edges, but from my research it looks like your pop-up is 85" wide and has straight edges, though I do recommend verifying this info just to be sure.
I have added a photo a customer sent in that shows them using this rack on their pop-up to transport their bikes so you can see how it would look on your Rockwood, and have added links below to the instructions for you to check out as well of the SportRack Pop-Up Camper Roof Rack # SR1020.
This will allow you to use any type of roof-mounted bike rack, like the Thule ProRide XT Roof Bike Rack # TH598004.
