Is Running Strap on Hollywood Racks RV Rider Bike Rack # HLY64FR to Bumper Required
Question:
The final step after you load your bikes on is to run straps from the center support to mounting points on the left and right side of your cars rear bumper area. What if my motorhome does not have a separate bumper to which I can attach the straps - are they critical?

In the instructions of the Hollywood Racks RV Rider Bike Rack # HLY64FR the last step is to run support straps from the center of the rack to either side of the bumper. If your motorhome does not have a bumper you might see if there's a portion of the frame you could access under the body of the motorhome.
While we have to recommend you follow the install instructions for this rack we are aware of several people who didn't use the strap and it worked well.
