Recommended Hitch Ball To Use with Demco Recon On Chevy/GMC OEM Gooseneck
Question:
Im looking at the Demco Recon as an option for my 2021 GMC Duramax Standard Bed that has the factory puck system. I have done the calculations and feel comfortable with the clearances between the truck cab and front of Grand Design 5th wheel trailer. However, I have not been able to determine what is the correct gooseball that I need for this application. Can you please help confirm?

In order to use the Demco Recon Gooseneck-to-5th Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter part # DM8550045 on a 2021 GMC Sierra 2500/3500 you'll need the Curt Pop-In Ball part # C60601 which is standard height and according to Curt will work on the Ford, Chevy, and Ram oem factory gooseneck hitches.
