Shock Kit for 5th Wheel Trailer With 6,000 lb Axles

Shock absorber replacement for a 1999 coachman prospera fifth wheel 36’ with 6000 pound axle weight

Expert Reply:
We do have shocks that will fit the 6,000 lb axles on your Coachmen 5th wheel, though not specific replacements if you were referring to OEM shocks. Instead, what we can offer are aftermarket shocks that will greatly improve your ride and fit 6,000 lb axles (which are 3" diameter axles). The shock kit that will work is the following:
- Lippert Components Bolt-On Shock Kit w/ Heavy Duty Gas Shocks - 5,200-lb to 7,000-lb (3") Axle # LC281281
These shocks are a simple bolt-on installation that will smooth your ride so you can have a better towing experience, and I have added links below to the instructions and a video review for you to take a look at.
