Recommended Solution for Tire Carrier on Hudson Trailer with 6" Tall Channel Frame

I need a spare tire mount for a open rim tire . Its off a older hudson trailer with 6 channel frame.

It sounds like this trailer has a 6" tall frame, which presents an issue since almost all of the spare tire carriers we have available are designed to fit on trailer frames no more than 5" tall, however I may have a solution that will work for you.
After looking up the style of trailer that Hudson typically made (deckover with channel frame), it appears that something like the etrailer Spare Tire Carrier for Trailer with Angle-Iron Railing - Clamp On # e99045 might work for you. This carrier is designed to be flexible with the bolt pattern since it only uses 2 bolts to hold the tire, so it would work with your 4 on 4 wheels.
