Rhino-Rack Universal Pioneer Platform Rack for a 2015 Subaru Outback Wagon with Factory Crossbars

Question:

First off, will this still work on my 2015 Outback even though it’s a bit bigger than this model? If so, how would I go about mounting it to my existing factory crossbars? Do you sell the hardware? Thanks so much!

The Rhino-Rack Universal Pioneer Platform Rack, part # RR42115BF, is designed to mount to a wide variety of crossbars, including factory crossbars. However, the factory crossbars only have a spread of 39", so the platform will have interference from your rails (since the factory crossbars sit below the rails).

An alternative to this platform that will sit inside the rails is part # RR42114BF. It's the same rack but smaller (48" Long x 38" Wide). The 38" width will allow it to mount safely without hitting the rails. I've linked to a video review/installation of this rack for you to look at.

All parts necessary for installation are included with the rack.
