Recommended Trailer Side 7 Way Plug With Handles to Make Removal Easier

Question:

My 2006 F150 has a 7 pin connector Motorcraft #XL3T-14A624-BA. ON the back side it is Pollak PA66 GF30. The bracket also contains the standard 4 pin connector. I need the male plug for the PA66 GF30, but I want one that has something like a T on it to go between my fingers for leverage to unplug. Make sense? It looks like POLLAK RV Trailer 7-Way Connector Plug - 12-706 is what I need but wanted to confirm before ordering. Thanks

It sounds like you're looking for a 7 way trailer end plug, so the Pollak Black Plastic, 7-Pole, RV-Style Trailer Connector - Trailer End # PK12706 is what you're looking for. This has the handles on the sides to make removal easier and it will fit in the factory 7 way plug XL3T-14A624-BA that you've mentioned.

If you need any wiring components to complete the installation of this you can use either 10 gauge # 10-1-1 or 12 gauge wiring # 12-1-1, which are sold by the foot; you may also need butt connectors like the Deka Heat Shrink Butt Connector - 12-10 Gauge - Nylon Insulation - Yellow - Qty 5 # DW05745-5 or Qty 10 # DW05745-10.
