The Reese # RP66074 Strait-Line System is a perfect choice for your large Grand Design Reflection travel trailer. The Reese excels at maintaining towing in a straight line especially when outside forces like passing trucks and wind gusts push on the very large sides of your trailer. The cam system is more rigid when in a straight line and the 1200 pound tongue weight rating gives you that little extra strength you will occasionally need.
This unit does not come with a required adjustable shank, which is good so each person can get the best fit for their system. Most find that the Reese # RP54970 Weight Distribution Shank (2” Drop / 6.5” Rise) works for most setups. If you have a lifted truck and require more adjustment the Reese # RP3215 (6-3/4” Drop / 11-1/2” Rise) may be a better choice. I have attached a guide for measuring the amount of rise or drop that you may need.
The required hitch ball will likely be sized 2” or 2-5/8” ball diameter. Your coupler will be stamped with the size. Most likely you need 2-5/8”. Either way, the ball will need a 1-1/4” threaded shank. For a 2-5/8” diameter ball I recommend the Curt # C40008. If it turns out to be a 2” coupler then the Curt # A-90 is best.
For nice quiet operation I recommend the Reese # 58117 white lithium ball grease.
