Parts Needed to Swap Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Brake Controller to 2021 Toyota 4Runner
Question:
Hi, a few months ago I bought a trailer brake controller the Tekonsha P3 for my 2017 Subaru Outback. I will soon be upgrading to a 2021 Toyota 4Runner and I was wondering what wiring and mount I needed to purchase to be able to mount and connect the controller in the new vehicle. I want to maintain the wiring and mount in the Subaru as well. Thank you

To allow you to switch between your two vehicles you'll really just need two parts to be able to freely swap your Tekonsha P3 # 90195. You can use the Replacement Mounting Bracket for Tekonsha Voyager Brake Controller # 2178, which also works with the P3, to mount the controller. Then, you can use the plug and play adapter harness # 3041-P to easily install the your Prodigy P3 in your 2021 4Runner.
I've linked a short installation video of a P3 on a 4Runner that you can use as a guide.
