The black wire on the Bargman 7-Pole Trailer Connector, # 50-67-103, will carry 12 volt power from the tow vehicle for accessories on the trailer that require a 12 volt power source such as an additional trailer battery, breakaway battery or any other accessory. This wire will carry 12 volt power from the tow vehicles battery. You can attach it where you would like, or tie it off if you do not have a use for that function.

I have listed the functions of the wires below.

Yellow: center auxiliary/reverse lights
Green: tail and license lights
Brown: right turn and stop lights
Blue: electric brake
Black: battery charge/12 volt power
Red: left turn and stop lights
White: ground wire

It is important to wire the connector by function, not by color. Trailer manufacturers do not stick with an industry standard when it comes to wire color, so determining the function will prevent any further issues after installation.
