Recommended Snow Tire Chains for 2014 Honda Odyssey
Question:
Hello, Honda says to use cable chains for Odyssey tires, presumably for the low profile. I have two sets of such cable chains, and they work, but a they are a pain to put on in the snow lay them out, drive over them, then secure them and b Id like something as robust as possible since I'm taking a long drive over the continental divide this winter. I read about Thule/Konig easy on chain designs. When I put in my tire size 235/65-R17, I dont find any Konig options on your site. Is that correct? What do you recommend given my priorities? Best.

You are correct that Honda recommends installing tire chains on the front tires only, and even recommend a specific style of cable chains for your vehicle due to it's limited tire clearance. You can still use the Konig chains, just make sure that the chains do not touch the brake lines or suspension.
For Konig chains available for your vehicle, we have the Konig Self-Tensioning Snow Tire Chains # TH01594247 and the Konig Premium Self-Tensioning Snow Tire Chains # TH02230K66. Overall, I recommend the Konig Self-Tensioning chains, as they are the best mix of cost effectiveness, ease of installation, and durability. We also have Konig's Standard Tire Chains which will fit your tires, but these are not Class S compatible, so you want to use either of the self-tensioning options I mentioned.
Check out the videos linked below for more details on both of these products.
