I Cannot Find Brake Controller Wire Stoplight Switch Wire on 2008 Chevrolet Express Van
Question:
tying in my electric brakes to the stoplight switch all four wires are hot till i hit the brakes then one goes out im using a Curt controler do you know which wire to tie into.... Its a2008 2500 chevy van thank you

We haven't had the chance to install a brake controller on a 2008 Chevy van yet, but we have installed brake controllers on a 2007 and 2009. I attached both installation videos for you to check out. On the 2007 model, it was a white wire coming from the stop light switch and on the 2009 model it was a blue wire with a white stripe.
We did have a 2012 model where we weren't able to find the correct wire at the switch, so we actually ran a wire back out into the engine bay to the fuse box and used a fuse tap, # F2526, to tie into fuse #68 (auxiliary stop lamps). I attached that video and you can see that process at the 7:50 mark in the video.
