It sounds like you're wanting to wire a power wire into the coiled 7 way adapter plug that came with the Brake Buddy Stealth # HM39530, but I don't recommend cutting into that harness and there's something else going on here and causing the issue.
If the Brake Buddy Stealth # HM39530 isn't charging your battery, your RV may not have the 12v charging pin activated on the 7 way connector; this would be the only way for it to transfer power to your towed vehicle battery. You'll want to check the pin at 1 o'clock when looking at the RV's receptacle using a circuit tester like the # PTW2993 and make sure that it's getting power.
If it's not getting power, you'll need to add a charge line kit like the # RM-156-75, which would allow power to flow from the RV battery to the Brake Buddy Stealth system and towed vehicle battery during travel.
If you're actually getting power on that 1 o'clock pin, let me know and I can give you a few other small things to check out.
