New Furrion Electric Fireplace Shows 88 Error Code
Question:
I got a new electric fireplace and every time I turn it on after a couple mins it shuts off and blinks 88 error. I’ve tried unplugging and letting it cool and I’ve made sure it was free of any debris but it continues to do it.

The 88 error on the Furrion RV Electric Fireplace with Logs - 30" Wide - Recessed Mount - Black Item # F30SW15ABL, means the manual reset overheat protection has triggered. Double check to make sure the air inlets and outlets are not blocked. It appears like you have but I would double check them again. You may have to slide the unit out of the wall and make sure the vent located on the top of the containment box is not too close to anything that would limit airflow.
