What is the Tongue Weight of the Draw-Tite 5350 Multi-Fit Hitch
Question:
Im looking to replace my existing 22 yo Reese 36041 with a Draw Tite 5350 hitch as suggested. However, my question is will the Draw Tite hitch support a hitch carrier with 500 lb total weight? Thank you.

The Multi-Fit Motorhome Trailer Hitch # 5350 is rated for 5,000 lbs towing and 500 lbs tongue weight, so it would be able to handle a cargo carrier and cargo that weighed 500-lbs total. I do recommend confirming that the frame of the trailer is able to handle that much tongue weight though, since you're going to be limited to the lowest rated component in a hitch/towing setup.
