Whether or not you'll be able to flat tow your 2018 Dodge Durango GT AWD will depend on the type of transfer case the vehicle is equipped with. If you've got the single speed transfer case, these models cannot be flat towed and must be towed with 4 wheels up on a dolly. A two speed transfer case is usually found in the V8 models of the Durango and will have 4H/4L settings available to use. If you've got the 2 speed transfer case, your vehicle can be flat towed. If you've got a V6, you've most likely got the single speed transfer case, but I recommend confirming this with your local Dodge dealer or through a VIN search.

If you can determine that you have a 2018 Dodge Durango GT has a 2 speed transfer case, you'll need parts from the following categories: base plates, tow bar, safety cables, lights, supplemental braking and a high/low adapter.

I've provided a short list of which items I would recommend below, but there are some things, like lights and supplemental braking that will depend on exactly which sub model and engine your Durango has, so if you can provide me with that information I can make the appropriate recommendations.

Base Plates: Blue Ox # BX2411 (Works on all 2019 Dodge Durango models)
Tow Bar: Blue Ox Avail # BX7420 (comes with safety cables)
Supplemental Braking: Patriot # BLU37TR
Lights: Tow Ready Diode Kit # TR118821
High/Low Adapter: Something similar to the # RM-076 Check the link provided below for all High/Low Adapters as well as separate article on how to measure for which one you'll need.
