How To Determine If a Hitch Extender Is Needed for the Thule EasyFold XT 2 E-Bike Platform Rack

Do I need a hitch extender for this rack for my Leisure Unity Motorhome. I do not believe so, but want to check

In regards to the Thule EasyFold XT 2 E-Bike Platform Rack part # TH903202, the distance from the center of the hitch pin hole to the closest part of the carrier (vertical upright) is 8". In order to determine if a hitch extender is needed to use this rack you'd need to measure from the center of the hitch pin hole on the vehicle to the outer most part which could be the spare tire, bumper, etc. That said, I wouldn't have any specific vehicle measurements to assist with this.

Of course, the EasyFold XT is not rated for use on a motorhome. Instead, you will want to use a motorhome-approved bike rack like the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE part # HLY84FR.
