Recommended Brake Controller for Towing Pop-Up Camper with 2002 Silverado

Which brake controller would you recommed for a 2002 Silverado 1500 pulling a larger pop-up camper? Thanks!

The Tekonsha Primus Brake Controller you mentioned, part # TK90160 would work very well for you and would be the perfect choice for your pop-up camper.
The primary difference between the Primus and the Prodigy P2, part # 90885 (which would be the next step up) is that the P2 can be mounted at any angle as long as it is parallel to the direction of travel, while the Primus must be mounted between level and 70 degrees above level. The P2 is also compatible with electric over hydraulic braking systems, while the Primus is not. Unless you can foresee upgrading to trailer that is equipped with electric over hydraulic brakes sometime in the future, the Primus should work perfectly.
