Installing Trailer Wiring Harness # 119175KIT on 2007 Suzuki XL7

As the # 119175KIT is not a vehicle specific item, there are not any instructions available specific to the 2007 Suzuki XL7.

You would need to access the wiring harnesses feeding the tail light assemblies, and use the circuit tester included with the kit to test the wires to determine which circuit serves which function. Turn on the running lights, and probe the wires feeding the tail light assembly until you find the wire with voltage on it. Tap the brown converter wire into that circuit. Turn on the left turn signal, and locate the wire with voltage on it and tap the yellow wire into that circuit. Find the wire for the right turn, tap the green wire into it and tap the red wire into the circuit for the brake light.

I have linked you to an install video that you might find helpful. The video shows the harness being installed on a different vehicle, but the procedure will be similar, especially the procedure for testing to find which circuit serves which purpose.
