Replacing A Monolog Air Conditioner With A Digital Advent Air Conditioner On A 2002 Camper

Question:

I bought this AC unit for a 2002 camper. The old unit was a monologue system. I also purchased the ACRG 15 for inside beings I have a ducted system. This is a digital system, I am being told I need a digital relay board to get it to work. Anyone know what brand or size digital board I need? My new system still doesn’t work.

Air Distribution Box w/ Wall-Mounted Thermostat for Advent Air RV Air Conditioners - White
Item # ACRG15 comes with a digital relay box and wall thermostat. The Advent Air RV Air Conditioner - 13,500 Btu - White Item # ACM135 does not work with a monolog thermostat however the wires connected on the back can be used to connect to your new thermostat. The new unit does require a constant 12 volt power source which can be located at the back of a light switch. The 12 volt power source needs to be ran from the switch up to the digital box and connected to the appropriate wires which are marked. The original power, ground, and neutral wire from the camper that were connected to your old unit need to be connected to the power, ground, and neutral wires located inside the digital box. The plug located up inside the new unit in the area of the fan needs to be plugged into the digital box. All of the wires coming out of the digital box may not be used.

I have provided a link to a video for a 15,000 btu unit being installed
