Compatibility of Lower Air Pressure in Trailer Tires

Question:

I have a small 300 pound Aluma trailer which I pull behind my Motorcycle when I travel. I changed them out to a 145-80-12 radial tires and they are a 10 ply . I put 80 psi in each tire , if when traveling the trailer starts to get bounesee, can I lower the psi on them and be safe ? And if so what psi would you recommend to lower to ? Thanks

The Kenda Karrier S-Trail ST145/R12 Radial Trailer Tire - Load Range E # AM10140 is the same as the tires you referenced changing your tires out to. The psi level in your tires being reduced may reduce the bounce, but it also will likely reduce the life of your tires as they are designed to be run at 80 psi cold. I don't recommend running the tires under the max psi listed on the tire. These specific tires are also only rated for 65 mph max so if your tires are similar will also impact the way the tire rides if you are over that speed.
