Trailer Hitch Receiver for 2008 Honda Accord Towing Trailer
Question:
This appears to be a good trailer hitch to pull a 1000 pound load trailer for 14 ft aluminum boat? Also thinking tekonsha 118420 wiring. and ball mount 3593. Does this sound realistic? You guys are great!

For your 2008 Honda Accord, the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C11496 is the correct fit (and a good trailer hitch to tow, though check your owner's manual for capacities) as are the wiring harness and ball mount. Here are the parts you will need:
- Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C11496
- T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118420
- Draw-Tite Drawbar # 3593
- 1-7/8" Hitch Ball # 19256 or 2" Hitch Ball # 19258
The hitch ball size will depend on the size of your trailer's coupler, with it likely being 1-7/8" due to how light the trailer is. Adding all of these parts will give your '08 Accord the towing set up you need in order to tow your small boat trailer.
