When towing a 5th wheel trailer with a truck that has less than an 8 foot bed, clearance issues can arise. Since your Ram has a 6 1/2 foot bed I recommend using a hitch that has a slider base. Whenever you need to make a tight turn it will allow you to slide the hitch back towards the tailgate and give you the clearance needed so the nose won't come in contact with the cab. Since the Reese # RP30047 doesn't have a slider, I wouldn't recommend using it on a short (less than 8') bed truck.

I recommend the Curt E16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ R16 Roller # 16516, it's very similar in design and rating to the Reese Trailer Hitch # PS30128 you referenced.

The E16 is rated for 16K GTW, and 4K vertical load limit. The height can be adjusted from 14" to 17" so you can tow your trailer level. The slider will allow the hitch to travel a full 12" for added clearance in tight situations.

The Curt Custom Fifth Wheel Installation Kit #C16444-204 will cut down on the install time compared to a universal kit. There's less drilling and will provide everything you need to get the 5th wheel in your truck, including a set of detailed instructions. I always recommend the custom fit option rather than the universal because it is much easier to install.

If you need in bed wiring for your truck, I recommend the Curt 5th Wheel/Gooseneck Custom Wiring Harness # C56070. This gives you a 7 way connector in the bed of your truck and prevents from having to drape the cord over the tailgate.

I've included links to all the parts mentioned above, and linked a few videos for you to check out as well.
