Installation Instructions of Tekonsha P3 on 2017 Chevy Colorado
Question:
The P3 manual labels its wires: Black: Battery + Red: Stoplight White: Ground - Blue: Brake My Colorado has 4 wires that basically match the P3s wires, but the manual has them labeled as follows: Black: Ground Red/green: Battery feed White/blue: Brake signal to controller Blue: Trailer brake power to trailer connector How am I supposed to join up the 8 wires? It couldnt be less clear to me haha, the grounds are different colors and I dont really understand my trucks labeling of the brake wires - am I supposed to join both white/blue + blue and connect them to the blue on the P3? Thanks!

We've actually got a great installation video of a Tekonsha P3 # 90195 that I've linked to this answer that you can use to follow along with the installation process, but I'll also match up the wires for you below based off of the wiring on your 2017 Chevy Colorado:
Black: Ground- Connect to White ground wire on Tekonsha P3
Red/green: Battery feed- Connect to Black Wire on Tekonsha P3
White/blue: Brake signal to controller - Connect to Red Wire on Tekonsha P3
Blue: Trailer brake power to trailer connector- Connect to Blue Wire on Tekonsha P3
Hopefully this simplifies the process for you, but let me know if you have any other questions on this.
