Can I Use the Monitor of the Furrion Vision S Wireless RV Backup Camera System Inside my Camper

Question:

Can the monitor be moved to the trailer for use there? Also could the monitor be used in my house with trailer parked in my driveway? How about when the trailer is in storage several miles from my home? Can the monitor work in situations like these? Thanks much!

The Furrion Vision S Wireless RV Backup Camera System w/ Night Vision part # FOS43TASF has a wireless range of 492' give or take depending on what the signal has to travel through. With that said it could work for inside the camper and inside the house if it was within range but it isn't going to get you a couple of miles.

Here's the thing though. The camera is setup to be powered with the running light or reverse light signals when they come on this tells the camera to turn on. This means to use it this way you will have to have a switch instead to turn it on and off that is ran up to your house battery. When doing this there will be a very minimal drain on the battery so it is a good idea to use the 2.5-Watt Solar Battery Charger part # PTW2997 to help ensure the battery does not run down over time.
