Kayak Carriers For 2019 Honda CRV
Question:
Are foam kayak carriers secure/stable enough and large enough to transport two wooden kayaks one 17ft, one 15 ft, both about 2 ft wide on the highway for 2 hours? We have a 2019 Honda CRV without a roof rack. Once I get them home, we will only be taking short trips but I want to be sure they will fit and wont go flying off on the highway. Thanks

First, you'll need a roof rack. You can use the Rola Rail Extreme RBE Series Roof Rack # R4002 if you have flush mounted rails on your 2019 Honda CR-V. If you have a naked roof you need the Thule WingBar Evo Crossbars # TH711420 the Evo Clamp Feet for Thule Crossbars # TH710501 and the Fit Kit for Thule Evo Clamp Roof Rack Feet # TH145046.
Two of the Rightline Gear Kayak Carrier # RL100K10 will work with the WingBar Evo and Rola Rail Extreme Crossbars! It will do just fine on the highway for 2 hours if you secure the kayaks down properly.
