Recommended Suspension Enhancement for 2014 Toyota Sequoia Platinum
Question:
Hey I have the 2014 Toyota Sequoia Platinum. It has three modes for factory rear suspension: Sport, Middle and Comfort. I am wondering do I need the Timbren SES for when I am towing or is the factory built-in air compressor going to do the leveling for me when I tow ie. 6500 lb trailer?

Your 2014 Toyota Sequoia Platinum does not require suspension enhancement if you are comfortable with the ride with your trailer connected in any of the 3 factory modes. The Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System # TTORSEQ1 are the correct fit if you want to add suspension enhancement which will take the brunt of the additional weight when towing to reduce wear on your factory suspension. These springs are designed to increase in rigidity and support as more weight is added working to provide stability and reduce body roll. They won't change the ride when you don't have a heavy load so adding them is my recommendation for you to pull a 6,500 lb trailer. I've attached a video that helps with a visual along with the explanation to assist.
