Can Standard 4-Way be Wired to 4-Way Wiring that Has Separate Wires for Each Side of Trailer
Question:
Hi..I have a 2014 Tracker trailer that has a 4 flat connector...but with 7 wires. I just got a new truck the wiring is a bit too short. Can I use this 4 flat connector to reach the 4 flat outlet on the truck....even though its not 7 wire? Im assuming itll work but dont want to damage anything. Thanks...

Yes you can combine the circuits you have now that are separated out onto standard 4-way wiring with 4 wires and everything would work fine. The # HM48145 will work great to give you the extra length you need as it is 12 feet long and you'll just need to combine the circuits before connecting to the 4 wires.
