Parts Needed To Install 7-Way and Brake Controller On a 2007 Dodge Ram 2500 Cab and Chassis  

Question:

I have 2007 dodge 2500 4 wheel drive with no tow package. I need to get the wiring harness set up that will be able to haul a gooseneck as well as a break controller.

If you don't have any trailer lighting circuits on the 2007 Dodge Ram 2500 Cab and Chassis you will first need to start with a 4-way, the Vehicle Wiring Harness Kit part # C59496. Once this is installed you can then adapt this to a 7-way with the 4 to 7-way and 4-Way Adapter Kit part # ETBC7.

In regards to the brake controller, I recommend the Tekonsha Voyager Trailer Brake Controller part # 39510. The 4 to 7-way and 4-Way Adapter Kit will come with everything you need to install this.
