To properly install the Derale Transmission/Engine Oil Cooler # D13302 on your 2003 Ford F-150, you will need to purchase the hose separately. I recommend the Derale Single-Hose Transmission Cooler Installation Kit # D12006. I have provided a link to this product. Provided the Transmission/Engine Oil Cooler fits properly in your vehicle, you will also need the Derale Radiator Adapter Fittings # D13025 and I have provided a link to that product as well.
For the oil cooler connection, I would recommend the Derale Thermostatic Sandwich Adapter Kit # D15782 as it has multiple thread sizes that should work on your 2003 Ford F-150. This adapter kit will allow your motor to bypass the engine oil cooler when the vehicle is cold and then once the motor warms up, it will divert the fluid to the oil cooler to keep your engine from running too hot.
Finally, I have provided a photo providing proper installation and fit procedures for your transmission/engine oil cooler # D13302.
