Best Suspension Enhancement for a 2018 Nissan Frontier with Factory Ride Quality
Question:
I have been looking at your suspension enhancement options for my Nissan Frontier. I usually drive the truck unloaded so I do not want to unnecessarily stiffen up the ride. I however would like to reduce the sag when pulling a 16foot boat/trailer or another 6x12 cargo trailer. Have had air lifts on other trucks but do not want to spend that much this time around. I am trying to decide which is the best option for the Nissan: 1 SumoSprings yellow rated or blue rated. Your web site says, NOT Confirmed to fit 2018 Nissan Frontier, and yet in the description it mentions installation on a Frontier? Would these fit tight to axle when not carrying a load. Pictures seem to make it look as though it is always in contact on both ends SumoSprings. 2 Timbrren Springs. This states that the fit is confirmed for the Nissan Frontier, however Im wondering if the capacity rating is overkill for the small Nissan. Again I do not want a stiffer ride when unloaded. It reads as though these do not sit tight on both ends when unloaded. Your thoughts on my concerns and advise would be greatly appreciated.

In regards to suspension enhancements for a 2018 Nissan Frontier, you have a few options but there are none from SuperSprings. The best option for unloaded ride quality would be the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs part # F2558. However, if you don't want the maintenance upkeep of the airbags then the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System part # TTORTUN4L are a great second best option. They can engage if you go over a big bump but aside from this they will retain a mostly factory unloaded ride quality. They will not have constant contact.
