Can I Use My Old SquareBars On My 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

I have a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee, I believe I needed the Thule 3142 fitkit and 460 foot pack. Planning to use the old style square bars we already own. Would the Thule 460R work with the old bars? Thx

Thule no longer makes the old style square bars, but they do make a new bar # TH712500 that will work with the Thule Rapid Traverse Feet # TH480R. These will work together because the new SquareBar have a slot in the bottom similar to the aero-style bars. Sadly, you will not be able use your old style, but if you get the new SquareBar, the Rapid Traverse Feet and this fit kit # THKIT1656 you'll be able to put a rack system on your 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee if it has a naked roof.
If you have factory flush rails you can grab the Rapid Podium Feet # TH460R, along with the fitkit you mentioned # THKIT3142, but you would want to get the Thule WingBar Evo Crossbars # TH711420 to go with this system.
Regardless of what system you decide to go with, both will be great for accessories like the Thule Canyon XT # TH859XT-8591XT. I like this basket because it'll fill up your whole roof. It's 69" Long x 40" Wide, can hold 1150 lbs and will be compatible with both the squarebars and aero bar.
