Compatibility of RV Bumper Platform Cargo Carrier on 4-1/2 Inch Square Bumper
Question:
My bumper is 4.5inch x 4.5inch with very little clearance at bumper/trailer ..... solutions? Thanks

For your 4.5 Inch bumper with little clearance, the Mount-n-Lock GennyGo Generator and Cargo Carrier for RV Bumpers - Steel - 200 lbs # MNT54FR will require about 1-1/2 inches of clearance on the back side of the bumper for mounting.
If you don't have that kind of space, then I recommend using the RV Bumper 2" Trailer Hitch Receiver - Clamp-On # S64025 which will require 7/8 inch between the bumper and RV. Then you can use a cargo carrier like # PS1040100 but you will be restricted to the receiver weight rating. This won't be as stable as supports on each end, but will work to meet your needs.
