Rooftop Bag for 2009 Dodge Grand Caravan

i have a 2009 dodge grand caravan that has the cross bars but the side rails are not raised so i cant secure straps to them, would it still be safe to only the cross bars. All the bags i have looked at have a 8 point tie down system.

The CargoSmart Soft-Sided Car Top Carrier # CS44FR has an 8 point system but you can run all of the straps to your crossbars on your 2009 Dodge Grand Caravan. I tested this bag on my car in the video below and installed it with this technique. This 10 cubic foot bag is a great way to keep your items protected and secured to your roof freeing up space in your Grand Caravan. It isn't as thick as some of the higher end bags but it is a good value when it comes to protecting your stuff.

I would also use this with the RightLine Gear Non-Skid Roof Protection Pad # RL100650. This will help protect your roof and keep your bag from shifting while driving.
