Does Sidewinder Wedge for Curt A Series Have a Warranty

Question:

I purchased the wedge and sidewinder king pin in June 2019. Just a few weeks ago the wedge split in two along the lamination line. When it split in two it allowed the trailer to shift from side to side as I rounded curves. First to one side and then the other depending upon whether it was a curve to the right or left. When I arrived home and unhooked, I discovered the wedge had come apart. I must say the wedge has never completely eliminated the shift of the trailer as I round curves in the road. There has always been just a little bit of shift and its concerns me because it could potentially move the truck on a wet road if the trailer shifts hard enough. I have tried adjusting the wedge to eliminate the shift. When I move the wedge closer to the pin for a tighter fit, then the jaws of the Curt A20 wont close around the pin. Is the wedge warranted? Either way I need a replacement wedge.

It is really unusual for a wedge to come apart so I'm surprised this happened as I've never heard of this occurring.

In regards to the warranty though, I checked with Curt, and the Sidewinder Wedge for Curt A Series 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches # C16992 does indeed have a lifetime warranty.
