Question:
Hello etrailer.com, Do I have to utilize an electric lockout # T4748800 when replacing an ATWOOD Actuator #84132 with a TITAN actuator #T43397007K? Ill be putting/replacing 10inch X 2 1/4inch FREE BACKING Hydraulic DRUM Brake kits on the boat trailer. Thank you,

Helpful Expert Reply:
Since the brake assemblies you plan to use are free backing plates you do not need to use a reverse lock out solenoid with the Titan Actuator part # T43397007K. The free-backing feature of the assemblies allows you to back up without needing to also have a reverse lockout solenoid.
