Edge provides average HP and Torque increases that are attainable, but due to the fact that there are many variables that will effect the realized fuel economy such as vehicle condition, weather, altitude and driving style, Edge cannot provide anything guaranteed in the way of mpg improvement numbers.
However, my Edge has told me that through testing and consumer feedback, they find a 1-2 mpg improvement is typical.
I've linked you to an FAQ article about vehicle programmers/tuners that you might find helpful.
