Can Reese Weight Distribution System be Used with 2008 Volvo XC90 with Nivomat Self Leveling
Question:
I am looking the BlueOx BXW0550 WDS and Sway Control. I spoke with BlueOx and the person I talked to said it would not work with an active system and could not say if it would work with a passive system such as the Nivomat. Will it work with the self leveling Nivomat system in the XC90?

Yes you can use the Reese Strait Line weight distribution # RP66084 with a passive self leveling air suspension system. The trick is to set the tongue weight of the trailer on the hitch ball to let it settle itself initially and then install and setup the weight distribution and you'll be fine.
For a 2 inch ball you would want part # A-90 and for a 2-5/16 inch ball # 19286.
