Can Yakima JayLow Attach to Yakima LoadWarrior Cargo Basket

Question:

Hello, I am trying to figure out if the best way to carry two kayaks is to have two sets of JayLow racks I know that one set can handle two kayaks and saw your video, but I dont trust that for a very long drive, so want two sets for security on highway, and install these on an existing LoadWarrier basket? Or is there a better solution than JayLow if I already have the LoadWarrior Basket?? I cant find any information on this at all on Yakimas site, etc. Thanks much - I will buy what I can from yall.

The Yakima JawLow part # Y04073 can fit directly to the Yakima Loadwarrior part # Y07070-74 that you referenced. I attached a picture that shows this as well. Using a single Jaylow for two kayaks is an acceptable long drive solution. If it wasn't safe to do this Yakima wouldn't endorse it for that type of use as they are very cautious. Some people prefer the J-style for loading and unloading so two of these racks is also a route you can go with if that's what makes you feel the most comfortable. Basically the straps do most of the work securing and not so the carrier so either configuration is safe. There are other similar racks that would work, but the JayLow is a super solid rack that I would put up against any other rack so I know you'd like it.

For a second set of straps to secure the second kayak if you use one rack you'd want the part # Y04031.
