Needing High Ground Clearance 2000 lb Trailer Jack

Question:

I have a subaru which I use to tow a small fiberglass trailer 13’. The ground clearance when going over some dips and humps sometimes scrapes the jack post. Is there a jack with a lower portion, say maybe 6”. I see this one is 9”. On my old one I was able to cut off part of it and get good clearance.

We've got exactly what you're needing. take a look at the # 322-RDJ-2K Ultimae A-frame trailer jack. The mounting bracket is height adjustable from 1-3/4 inches with the jack fully retracted and the adjustable collar at the lowest setting up to 29-1/4 with the jack fully extended with the adjustable collar at its highest setting. You'll get a better idea of how that works by taking a look at the video I've linked for you which shows the jack in action.
