Will Curt Trailer Hitch # C13065 Fit a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee with Tow Hooks

Hello, I am interested in purchasing this hitch. I have a 2012 Jeep GC with tow hooks. I noticed on the site for some of the other hitch models available that there tech tip says that additional installation time is required for models with tow hooks. This to me indicates that those hitches would still work for models with tow hooks but it will take longer to install. However, this model C13065 does not say anything about models with tow hooks, will this model install properly on my vehicle? Is there documentation in the instructions about how to install on vehicles with tow hooks?

The Curt trailer hitch instructions for # C13065, see link, do mention that if there are factory tow loops present they have to be removed prior to hitch installation. So this hitch will fit with or without the tow hooks present on the vehicle. I have also included a link to a video showing a typical installation.

If you plan on doing some towing I recommend the etrailer ball mount kit # 989900. It comes with 2 ball mounts, 2 balls, a hitch pin and clip, and a carrying bag. For trailer wiring use # 118425. I have linked instructions for the wiring as well.
