Replacement Air Conditioner for Non-Ducted 13,500 Btu Carrier Air Conditioner
Question:
My Carrier Air V won’t cool. The light on the ceiling panel blinks 5 times. When I reset the unit by unplugging positive battery post and city power then restarting it runs for a little while but does not blow cold. The unit is on a 2009 Open Range Fifth Wheel, model #68RV15102A, Part #99-00468-08, Serial#1008Y70390. Any suggestions or replacements? Thanks

We do not have the Carrier brand so aren't familiar with them for troubleshooting so the best we can offer is a replacement for your non-functioning Carrier AC. It sounds like you may have a thermostat or relay box which is not working, and if that is the case you will need an entirely new set up.
It looks like your Carrier unit was a non-ducted 13,500 Btu AC, so to replace it I recommend the Advent Air RV Air Conditioner with Air Distribution Box, Start Capacitor, and Heat Strip - 13,500 Btu # ACM135CH (White) or # ACM135BCH (Black).
I have added a link to a video review for you to check out as well.
