Hitch Reciever Compatibility with 2020 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid Limited with Reverse Sensors and Liftgate
Question:
Will installing this hitch and attaching a bike rack interfere with the cars reverse sensors ie sensing an object is in the way when reversing, thus triggering warnings from the car or stopping the car from reversing? Also, will this hitch prevent use of the kick sensor for the hands free lift gate?

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # C13416 is a fit for your 2020 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid Limited. The kick sensor for the Hands-free Liftgate functionality may be very limited or possibly lost according to the manufacturer. We haven't installed this hitch on that model with the sensors to confirm. Using a towing accessory with your reverse sensors will require turning off that feature on your vehicle. It should be very easy to do in your settings so you can use a bike rack or cargo carrier that would interfere with that system functioning correctly.
For you bike rack, I recommend using a rack that has more than a 3-1/2 inch measurement from the hitch pin hole to the closest part of the rack. Most bike racks will easily work with that measurement but we do give you that information on each bike rack product page. If you don't have a bike rack in mind, I recommend using the Kuat Transfer V2 Bike Platform Rack # KU74FR.
