If your 2010 Toyota Tacoma has factory 7-Way wiring that you are looking to upgrade, you can add a 7-Way and 4-Flat connector with the Reese Multi-Plug Wiring Harness for Factory Tow Package # 74682. This harness plugs directly into a factory 7-way harness behind the rear bumper.
If your Tacoma doesn't have a factory-installed trailer connector, you will want to start by installing a custom wiring harness like the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Flat # 118496. This will get the stop, turn, and taillight signals from your factory wiring without requiring splicing into your factory wiring. Then, to add the 7-Way functions in addition to the 4-Flat you will want to use the # ETBC7 kit. This kit includes a 4-Flat and 7-Way connector as well as the wiring, circuit breakers, and hardware needed to finish connecting the electric brake signal and 12V power wires. The 7-Way can also be spliced into your truck's reverse light signal if you need that function as well.
I have linked an installation video of the # ETBC7 kit on a 2009 Tacoma so you can check out the installation process.
