The only way for you to carry a dirt bike with your 2012 Mazda 5 is with a small trailer. The reason for that is the only hitch available for this vehicle is a Class 1 hitch, and these have 1-1/4 inch receivers and there are no dirt bike or motorcycle carriers that are compatible with that size hitch or have the weight capacity you need.
If you do decide to do this you will need a hitch, wiring and ball mount, and the correct parts for your 2012 Mazda 5 are the following:
- Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver # 24874
- T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118520
- Draw-Tite Drawbar # 3592
- 1-7/8" Hitch Ball # 19256 or 2" Hitch Ball # 19258
I have added links to installation videos for you to check out as well.
