What Hitch and Bike Rack for 2011 Honda CR-V
Question:
Hi, I want to know if two products I want to buy pair well together and will work with my car and bike. I have a Honda CRV 2011. I want to buy: - the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2 - 75547 and - the Swagman Chinook 2 Bike Platform Rack - 1-1/4 and 2 Hitches - Frame Mount - Tilting - S64683 to be used to carry a Raleigh bike ROUTE 2 ST https://www.raleighusa.com/pavement/hybrid/route-2-st-4416 and a kids bike 20+ I am concern if the hook of the rack will work with the frame of that bike since it is very downward Thank you for your response, greatly appreciated it .

Both the Draw-Tite # 75547 and the Swagman Chinook # S64683 will work well together on your 2011 Honda CR-V.
With that said, since it is a frame mounting bike rack, you're likely going to need to add bike adapter bars like the # MPG2165; this is going to be the case with pretty much any bike rack you were to choose that isn't a wheel mounting rack though. Taking all of the potential options into consideration it's likely more cost effective to go this route, as opposed to going with a wheel mounting rack since those tend to be a lot more expensive. I really only recommend people upgrade if they've got carbon framed bikes where you don't want it to get scratched up and ruined.
I really like Swagman racks; they're underrated in their quality and functionality. They really are a great product at a great price point. I've linked some informational and installation videos of these parts for you to have a look at, as well.
