How To Install Swagman Pop-Up Camper Roof Rack On a Rockwood Freedom

Question:

Ive found a subject related to the same tent trailer that I have Rockwood Freedom 1940ltd and was wondering how to secure the swagman SR1020 into the tent trailer? The Swagman install guide is completely useless it does not provide step-by-step instruction but I was able to assembly both racks however Im not sure how to drill and secure it into the tent trailer. Can you provide info?

The SportRack Pop-Up Camper Roof Rack part # SR1020 should work just fine on a Rockwood Freedom. In regards to installation, this is going to fall on the installer because as you have mentioned the instructions are not very detailed but that is due to this being a universal item.

I know what you are looking for but we don't have any way to offer advice for any one specific application. I am sure a professorial would be able to install the rack for you no problem if you do not feel comfortable. I took a look at some photos of the trailer online and there appears to be a metal border on the outside edge which you could secure the rack to no problem.
